Mass Rally in Support of Postal Workers

On May 10, more than 400 demonstrators came out to show, and voice, their support for CUPW postal workers and their rotating strikes. Many of the people at the rally were in Winnipeg to attend a PSAC Convention being held at the Fairmont Hotel. There also about 70 members of CUPE at the mass rally in front of the Canada Post outlet on Graham Street, with the rest of the people at the rally coming from other MFL affiliates including the United Steelworkers and the Canadian Auto Workers.

Among the people at the rally were CUPE National President Paul Moist (left), MFL President Kevin Rebeck, and PSAC National President John Gordon.
