Survey for People 45 Years PlusThe Human Resources Council for the Voluntary and Non-Profit Sector (HR Council) is conducting a confidential survey which may be of interest to individuals aged 45+ who are planning to retire, make a career change, have been downsized, or who are already retired. The survey reflects the non-profit sector's interest in the skills/experience which union members could bring from other sectors to late-career or post-retirement paid work in the non-profit sector. The survey should only take about 10 minutes to complete. The HR Council will use the study results to develop informational materials to better inform employers and individuals about paid employment opportunities in the Canadian non-profit sector. Completing the survey will be informative to individuals and also assist the non-profit sector and its 69,000 charitable and community organizations across Canada. At the end of the survey, a direct web-link directs you to a web page where additional information can be requested regarding employment in the non-profit sector and/or request a copy of the final study results. The HR Council works with educators, labour and government to identify and address HR issues and is funded by the Government of Canada's Sector Council Program.
