Strike Against Brandon Clinic Over

The 57 support staff at the Brandon Clinic Medical Corporation who went on strike on February 10 returned to work on March 16. The settlement that brought the strike to an end was a three-year collective agreement that provides for a six per cent wage increase this year, and four per cent for the following two years.

A negotiating priority for the local had been trying to narrow the wage gap between what the support staff at the Brandon Clinic are paid, and what their counterparts in the public health care system receive.
